My story

We are taking part in the Big Golf Race in memory of a much-loved colleague and dear friend, Dave “Pricey” Price, who sadly passed away in 2024 after battling prostate cancer.

Pricey was a larger-than-life character, not just in presence but in the impact he had on everyone fortunate enough to know him. Kind, generous, and endlessly selfless, he was the kind of person who would always show up for others—often without being asked, and never expecting anything in return.

Whether in work or in life, he brought people together, lifted spirits, and left a lasting impression that won’t be forgotten. His warmth, humour, and genuine care for those around him made him truly special.

Taking part in this challenge feels especially fitting, as it’s exactly the sort of thing Pricey would have done himself—quietly supporting a good cause and encouraging others along the way.

We are proud to honour his memory by raising awareness and funds for Prostate Cancer UK, in the hope that others can be spared the loss that so many families and friends experience.
