My story

Prostate cancer exists in every golf club. In the UK, 1 in 8 men will be diagnosed with it in their lifetime, yet it remains the only major cancer without a national screening programme. It shouldn’t be this way.

That’s why Adam Walton, Paul Sigston, Richard Bywater, Sammy Sansome, Marcus Hook, and David Knight — all members of Moor Hall Golf Club — are taking on The Big Golf Race on 22nd June.

We’ll be completing an incredible 100 holes of golf in one day, teeing off as daylight breaks at 4:30am and going right through until the challenge is done.

Every pound raised will help fund vital prostate cancer research, supporting earlier diagnosis and helping create a future where men’s lives aren’t left to chance.

This is a cause that touches so many families, and we would be hugely grateful for any support, big or small.

Thank you.
