My story

Hi, we’re George, Harry, James and George, and we’re taking on an Ultramarathon Golf Challenge to raise money for Prostate Cancer UK on 26th June 2026.

The challenge? Walking the equivalent of an ultramarathon (35 miles)… while playing golf. That’s a lot of steps, a lot of swings, and very likely a lot of lost balls along the way. Safe to say, our legs, backs and handicaps will all be tested.

But as tough as this challenge will be, it’s nothing compared to what so many men and families go through when facing prostate cancer.

For me personally, prostate cancer has had a huge impact on my family. It’s a disease that’s touched us across generations and left a lasting mark on the people we love. That’s why this challenge means so much — it’s our way of honouring those affected and helping protect others in the future.

We’re also doing this for all men. Prostate cancer affects 1 in 8 men in the UK, yet it’s still something that doesn’t get talked about enough. Men are great at talking about golf scores — less great at talking about their health — and that needs to change.

Every donation will help Prostate Cancer UK fund vital research, raise awareness, and support men and their families at every stage of the disease.
